Your mission is to destroy the enemy by any means necessary. If you
fail, the world as we know it may come to an end. You’ll be fighting
through seven intense levels as you try to reach the evil enemy and
bring safety to your city. Whether you journey to undiscovered alien
worlds or battle at the end of the earth, it’s all here. Have no fear
though, as you’ll have a huge array of weapons to choose from:
multi-phase pulse rifles, overwhelming shock weapons, and magnetic bolt
accelerators, just to name a few. Each weapon will serve its own
purpose in destroying the mutant race. If you can’t do it alone, then
join up with a friend in the Two-Player Cooperative mode. The
Two-Player mode offers more mutants, different routes, and insane
challenges behind every door. No matter how you play this game though,
you’ll be in for some action-packed fun.

In NIGHTMARE CREATURES, gamers travel back to 19th-century London,
which is threatened by an onslaught of brutally gory beasts. These
harbringers of doom have been summoned by the evil Adam Crowley and his
sinister cult, the Brotherhood of Hecate. You job is simple: wipe out
these ghastly creatures and their master. You can play as either as the
young American swordswoman Nadia, or Ignatius, the staff-wielding monk.
The game runs at a decent 30 frames per second, even with four monsters
onscreen at once. You will encounter 15 different creature types
ranging from zombies to dog-sized rats to hellhounds to three-headed
ogres and five different bosses, such as the Yeti, a four-headed
fire-breathing serpent, and Mr. Crowley himself. Each boss has distinct
powers and attack styles, making them quite a challenge for even the
most seasoned gamer.

If you are a fan of Capcoms CyberBots or Sega's Virtual On games, this
aint the game for you. Big, slow, lumbering Mech's with limited moves,
dodgy graphics and next to no replay value once you've played through
with all the characters.That's if you even get that far...
In all
honesty, I can't recomend this game at all, it has almost no redeeming
qualities. The graphics are basic and glitchy, the sound effects are
poor and winning a fight is more luck than judgement in later rounds,
but it is a rare game, so I'm posting this primarily for completists
and people with more blank media than they know what to do with The
only good thing in its favour is that the soundtrack isn't as bad as
the rest of the game
